With my new baby coming into the world tomorrow, I want to offer a signed copy of it here on my blog to celebrate…LOVE ON A MIDSUMMER NIGHT
Do you believe in true love? Answer that question in a comment, and I’ll put your name in the hat to win a signed copy of the book…
Description of the novel:
“The chemistry and the dialogue between Arabella and Raymond are
honest and open, with plenty of passion.” Booklist July, 2013
The charming, dissolute Raymond, Earl of Pembroke, is the most notorious rake in London. Home from the war against Bonaparte’s forces, he spends his life gaming, drinking and bedding courtesans, trying to forget the only woman he ever loved.
Arabella, Duchess of Hawthorne, is the woman who betrayed him. Forced into a marriage with an old man against her will ten years before, Arabella never saw Pembroke again. But now her elderly husband is dead, and the new Duke of Hawthorne wants to force her into his bed.
Desperate, Arabella goes to Pembroke in the dark of night and begs for his help and protection. In spite of his anger and bitterness, Pembroke can not turn his old love away. He and Arabella journey to Derbyshire during the midsummer festival to escape the marauding duke. Arabella and Pembroke find that their attraction for each other has not diminished, but has grown to a conflagration beyond their control. They find themselves falling under an enchantment, caught in a dream from which they never want to wake.

I used t believe in true love until I had my heart broken. Is there such a think as true love?
I hope so Darlene. I think so, in spite of heart break. No matter what happens, the love we feel is real. I’m rooting for you, and sending you lots of love.
Yes, I still do, divorced years ago and still looking, but I know he’s out there!
You’ll find him Julia! Or he’ll find you 🙂
There is true love – involves a lot of work and a lot of luck!
You are so right Julia!
True Love definitely exists…but you have to want it, return it, and work hard to maintain it. It’s not a “poof” you have it and it will never leave kind of thing. When it’s true, it’s absolutely glorious!
Yes! I love that! Hard work on both sides makes true love last…that’s what all my married friends tell me 🙂
I believe ‘true love’ can happen many times in a lifetime, each truth unique, but the current love is always the truest of all.
Definitely yes, I believe in true love! That’s what my hubby and I have had for 33 years now. I do believe it is a good idea to be good friends to have a loving relationship–and my hubby and I are the best of friends. 🙂
Yes, I believe in true love. Sometimes bad things happen in relationships and they end (my first marriage did because of my husband’s infidelity). But I truly loved him and he loved me–until his job changed and he was traveling and gone from home a lot. Then I was single for five years. Then I met another wonderful man and fell in love with him. We’ve been married for 33 years. I still love him. So yes, I believe in true love. But it may happen more than once in a person’s lifetime.
I agree…true love sometimes comes more than one…esp if we’re very lucky 🙂 Or would that be blessed?
