Monday Summer Give Away: How To Tame A Willful Wife

With my latest baby coming into the world, I want to offer a give away of the first book in the series, HOW TO TAME A WILLFUL WIFE. See Pembroke in his supporting role as Anthony Carrington’s best friend and n’er do well about town…

Would you find it easy to love a rake? Just answer that question in a comment, and I’ll put your name in the hat to win a signed copy of the book…

  1. I tend to fall for the rakish ones. Easy? Sometimes it’s not. Exciting is more the word I would use. Looking for that excitement has broken my heart more than once. 🙂

  2. Easy? Of course! They are reputably sexy and suave, they know the right angle to lift their eyebrow and how much dimple to flash. Melt my heart…
But once a rake met me he would be on his knees, all other women forgotten, begging for my kisses. At least that is what my husband says, since on our first date I grabbed him by his jacket and claimed my own kiss. Hmm…maybe I would have been classified as a rake had I been male, and lived ages ago. 🙂

  3. Hi Christy!

I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed reading How To Tame A Willful Wife which I read when it was released and how happy I was to find out that not only was Love on a Midsummer Night was released last week! I can’t wait to read it and was so excited to learn that the next book in the series, Much Ado About Jack, will be coming out next February!

I’ve fell in love with Shakespeare’s writing back in the 1960’s when it was required reading when I was in High School and I know that your books like his plays will capture your readers attention and keep them coming back for more!

Congratulations on a wonderful series. Please don’t enter me in the giveaway but good luck to whoever wins because they are going to have so much fun reading How To Tame A Willful Wife!

    1. Jeanne, You’ve made my day. Thank you so much for your sweet words about my books. I hope you enjoy LOVE ON A MIDSUMMER NIGHT 🙂 I am a huge fan of Shakespeare…his comedies always make me laugh.

In my much younger days, when in college, I would say yes, I would’ve fallen easily for a rake. Rakes tend to be exciting, are usually handsome, confident and popular. Nowadays, however, I would not fall so easily as I am wiser and care more for the handsome “insides” of a man. However, that being said, I was fortunate enough to fall for a lovely man who was also a “hunk”–and we’ve been married 33 years! But he doesn’t exhibit the over-confident, arrogant traits of a rake either. 🙂

It would be so hard at first….I think if he relentlessly persuaded me I would give in. Maybe I can tame him…but not in bed. haha 😀

  6. No, I don’t think it would be easy, because all my defenses would come up and I’d be too wary. But if he was verrrrry persistent…and especially if he had blue eyes…never say never
