When I met Amanda DeWees at this year’s Moonlight and Magnolias in Atlanta, I was charmed. The more we chatted, I saw that we had a lot in common, namely a love for storytelling and a deep love of Shakespeare. When I read the back of her novel SEA OF SECRETS, I knew I had to have it. Then, when she told me it was a loose re-telling of Hamlet set in Gothic, Victorian England, I pulled out my money.
