I think I love beginnings more than anything else. That crisp new page, unmarred by words. It could become anything.
I just began the next novel in my Highlander trilogy, and once more, I find myself transported by the joy of possibility. I have an outline for this novel, of course. I know where I think its going. But always, my characters take me places I never thought to go, and show me things about them and about myself that I never hoped to find. I love starting this journey.
I love beginnings. This road could lead anywhere.
