Why are we romance readers and writers in love with love?
 
Well, love, romantic and otherwise, makes the world a better place. Watching a hero and a heroine overcome the obstacles keeping them apart can be inspiring as well as entertaining. Sometimes those obstacles are internal, and as we watch them learn to be better people, we remember our own better natures. Love is catching. Every time we honor it, in our lives and on the page, we take a step, large or small, to make the world a better place than we found it.
