Regency Friday: What I Read While I Was Sick

I had the distinct pleasure of downloading Grace Burrowes’ GARETH: LORD OF RAKES onto my e reader while I was sick in bed. Let’s just say that Gareth made my cough livable. I forgot my hacking and my general malaise and enjoyed watching him seduce and be seduced by Felicity, his lady love. This book is filled with wit and laughter, and true warmth. I want to read a lot more of this series. I mean, really, who can resist a hot man like this one? Check out the link below for more…

Gareth: Lord of Rakes by Grace Burrowes

I also had the pleasure of downloading and reading LORD AND LADY SPY by Shana Galen…more fun and frolic, intrigue and lust. I loved every minute of watching Sophia and Adrian find each other again after years of estranged marriage. And you’ll love them too, as soon as you hit the link below. 🙂 And don’t take my word for it… Book list says “Galen strikes the perfect balance between dangerous intrigue and sexy romance.”  Sweet!

When I moved, I got distracted, and missed reading Nicola Cornick’s latest piece of beauty and joy, but while I was lying in bed, I made up for it. I love watching a man and a woman fall in love in spite of themselves. Nicola Cornick has the uncanny ability to write an almost perfect Regency novel. Hit the link below and check it out…

  • Christy,
I haven’t read those books. I think I will need to add them to my TBR list. Oh goodness, that list keeps growing and growing!

    I am glad you’re feeling better. 🙂
