The upside of this was that I also spent a lot of quality time reading&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>On one of my few feel good days, I spent one early Friday evening\u00c2\u00a0strolling through downtown Asheville, visiting lovely shops and eating lovely food, ending up at last at one of my favorite bookstores, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.malaprops.com\/\">Malaprops<\/a>\u00c2\u00a0to listen to the lovely Erika Robuck talk about her latest novel, FALLEN BEAUTY, about Edna St. Vincent Millay. Of course, I bought the book and had her sign it, along with her second novel, CALL ME ZELDA about the brilliant by troubled Zelda Fitzgerald, an Asheville favorite.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ChristyEnglish.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/1798506_10202229714556844_26500877_n.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3533 lazyload\" alt=\"1798506_10202229714556844_26500877_n\" data-src=\"http:\/\/www.ChristyEnglish.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/1798506_10202229714556844_26500877_n.jpg\" width=\"269\" height=\"403\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 269px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 269\/403;\" \/><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3533\" alt=\"1798506_10202229714556844_26500877_n\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ChristyEnglish.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/1798506_10202229714556844_26500877_n.jpg\" width=\"269\" height=\"403\" \/><\/noscript><\/a><\/p>\n<p>When I fell ill, I dove into both of them, one after the other and adored them both. If you haven&#8217;t read them yet, do yourself a favor and get your hands on them. They are both simply delicious from the first page to the last. Divine!
