I am happy to say that I have not disappeared for a month for some awful reason, but for a happy one…I became completely drawn into a revision. I do love the joy of watching a novel I thought I knew take on a new shape, coming closer and closer to the novel it is meant to be. It is a thrill to be a part of that process, and yet standing outside it at the same time, as I watch my characters interact and explore their world and each other. They have shown me things I never would have seen and taken\u00c2\u00a0 me to places I never would have been if we had not made these revisions. My characters are definitely my teachers.<\/p>\n
