What I Need Today… A Cup of Tea

Another week begins…the day job is booming with busyness as I close in on the final words of my new book…only 14, 000 to go!

Meanwhile, I feel a deep and abiding need for a fabulous cup of tea.

As I go and fetch one, I say, Happy Monday All!

Tea Set

“Friendship is certainly the finest balm for the pangs of disappointed love,” our lovely Jane Austen said. I will go so far as to say that new friends and a cup of tea go even farther as balm for the pangs brought by the last of winter’s chill.

I love your comment and have shared it on FB, Christy. A lot of my family and friends do not understand why I read romances. I just smile and keep on reading. πŸ™‚ I’ve been collecting quotes from several authors, including yours today, about “why I read romance” so that I can remind others from time to time about the reasons for my reading habit. I think they are a positive in a negative world and they make me feel good. Thanks again. Janice

    1. Thank you Janice! We romance readers have to stick together πŸ™‚ I think reading for joy is a wonderful thing πŸ™‚
