I am so excited that my latest Regency MUCH ADO ABOUT JACK is finally coming into the world! It takes many months to birth a book, and only one day for it to hit the stores. So tune in on Monday, Feb 3 for a give away of all three of my Regency novels, HOW TO TAME A WILLFUL WIFE, LOVE ON A MIDSUMMER NIGHT, and MUCH ADO ABOUT JACK…all signed of course. ( US Only)

And on Tuesday, Feb 11 I will be hosting an interview with the ever-amazing Grace Burrowes, author of the wonderful MacGregor series  set in Victorian Scotland.

Along with her interview, Grace will be offering two give aways: 1) an iPad from Grace Burrowes and 2) a three book set of The Bridegroom Wore Plaid, Once Upon a Tartan, and The MacGregor’s Lady. (Both US and Canada only)

I hope you can join us over the next couple of weeks…it is going to be a blast!

What Would Eleanor Think of Prinny?

I had the best time on HF Book Muse musing on what Eleanor of Aquitaine might think of the Regency Period. I always used to ask myself: what would Eleanor think of modern Paris, or fast cars, or modern men? Well, I took the time to play with what she might think of my new favorite time period, Regency England. Hit the link below, and take a look at what I came up with.

Tasty Weekend Coming Up

Friday, January 24th, 2014 | Uncategorized | No Comments

I am so excited…when I signed up for the Tasty Authors Weekend last year, February 2014 seemed so far away…and now it’s almost here. I am psyched! I’ll be getting to sit on a panel with Lauren Wittig, talking about historical romance. And all weekend, I’ll get to meet and greet other romance writers and readers. Conferences are a great place to learn. I am so looking forward to this one…

JEWEL OF THE EAST

5 Stars for JEWEL OF THE EAST by Victoria Vane

Why do we read Georgian romance? Or any romance for that matter?

For pleasure. For escape. To visit the world of the rich and beautiful, and to watch as they fall in love. To remember when we fell in love ourselves.

Victoria Vane’s JEWEL OF THE EAST allows us to do all that, and more. But it also takes us deeper, reminding us that life does offer second chances, if we are brave enough to take them. Life does offer new roads to walk on, if we find the courage within ourselves to step onto that path, and take the first steps toward building a new life. JEWEL OF THE EAST shows us that love can heal, and make us whole. Not because we find another part of ourselves buried in another, but because love for another can lead us to find the lost part of us that is buried within ourselves. Love gives us the tools to unearth those lost part, to make ourselves whole.

Jewel

Serious today, aren’t I? Please don’t think that just because JEWEL OF THE EAST  is inspiring, it isn’t also fun. It’s a joy to watch Salime come together with her Sin, and to find love and pleasure in his arms. It’s a fun romp, with lots of hot scenes. But it might also make you think, about your own love, for yourself and for others, and where that love, rightly inspired, can take you.
