What a great quote! It made me instantly think of the Empress Mathilda (aka Queen Maud), but could also be said of Queen Mary I of England and Queen Elizabeth I of England.

Those are good possibilities Amy…I am a huge fan of Maude…she doesn’t make an appearance in To Be Queen, but if I manage to sell the sequel, Maude will definitely be in that. Henry really adored his mother…
