Missed Posts and Musings
Thursday, May 20th, 2010 | The Writing Life
Ah, I missed my post yesterday…I was away from my computer all day. I am taking a few days off from my writing, so I let the ball drop and the computer lie silent. I think it’s good to let my brain lie fallow. Perhaps my words will flow better once I begin to work again. Here’s hoping…

Christy,
I find an occasional non-computer/non-writing day very productive. Lets the brain think on things without all the distractions.

Christi, I agree…in the last few months, I have not been away from my computer at all…and I think of all the years before I ever had one, when I wrote everything in notebooks, in long hand. Funny how we get addicted to things that years ago we never touched…
It’s so hard to stay away from the computer these days… especially with FB (so addicting!) It’s nice to pull away sometimes though.

You speak nothing but the truth…I am waiting for notes on my latest draft of To Be Queen, so I have a little downtime. Of course, now my brain us starting to talk about other ideas for Eleanor. I love her…please Muse, keep those ideas flowing…
